Morton Stanley Festival 2017

Did you miss us last weekend? We certainly missed you!

If you haven’t heard, we were out tempting the North Worcestershire folk with our local brews and fresh cocktails, whilst showing off our beautiful mobile bars!

Set up at Morton Stanley Festival in Redditch, we were out there shaking up and pouring drinks to the thirsty. With it being the region’s largest open-air civic music and entertainment event, we made sure we had plenty to go around! Of course everyone, remember to drink responsibly.

We took our very own rustic pallet bars and kept the beers & ciders flowing, to name a few Bitter & Pale Brummie, from our mate Paul Harwood of Birmingham Brewing Company. Not to mention the tantalising ‘Whubarb Cider’ produced by Woodhalls Brewery just down the road in Hereford. We know that sometimes ice cold cider is the only thirst-quencher you need.

And for those who prefer something a little more refined ‘Betty the Bevvy Box’ was there to provide something a little bit different! She spent most of the day & night shaking up a storm with her Pina Coladas served Puerto Rican style in fresh pineapples! The Mojitos, Pimms and Betty’s very own creation inspired by Morton Stanley itself the ‘Morton Mule’ a twist on the classic Moscow Mule also went down a treat. There was certainly no horsing around!

Combined with the fab weather, atmosphere and the ultimately pristine location, we couldn’t have picked a better spot! Plus, we got to jig along to some great music from local artists and sample some amazing food from street food purveyors. A special mention to MexiBros for keeping us fed all weekend with their delectable Mexican treats!

I know you’re probably thinking that you should’ve popped down and to be honest, you’re right! But don’t worry - we have lots more fantastic events lined up for 2017, or even better we can bring the party to you!
