Everything you need to know about Hiring a Mobile Bar

Weather you need Bar for a Special Birthday Bash, Wedding, Garden Party Bar or anything in between we have all bases covered with our array of services available to compliment your event.    Check out our most frequently asked questions below based on our years of experience. 

Where can our bars be used, and what for? Our mobile bars can be used for any event! Birthdays, Hen Parties, Garden Parties, Product Launches, Weddings & everything in between. We have a selection of Bars suitable for use within Homes, Gardens, Fields, Marquees, Village Halls or even at the Office. 

What styles, shapes & sizes of bar are available to hire?  This is the single most popular question we are asked day to day.  Mobile Bars allow you to be extremely flexible when considering the size, style & shape of your bar. Consider where you will be placing the bar, does it need to be indoor, or outdoor? Where will it fit best in the room? Can the bar be themed to match the theme of your event? 

What Drinks Can Be Served? Any. An extensive drinks selection is available with all our Mobile Bar Options including Draught Beers, Ciders & Ales, Selection of Wines & Fizz, Spirits & Cocktails, Soft Drinks & Mocktails. Special requests may also be catered for with enough notice. 


How much will it cost? There are various packages available when choosing your mobile bar, all of which are customisable to suit your event & budget. The most popular option is a ‘CASH BAR’ whereby the client pays the Hire Fee (from £125.00*) and guests thereby ‘pay as they go’. The Second most popular option is a ‘FREE BAR’ whereby the client chooses to either run a tab for the duration of the event which can then be paid after the event – the approximate price of which can be estimated with us together pre event (from £125.00*) OR the client may choose to purchase all the alcohol whereby our staff will serve this to the guests (POA). Thirdly a TAB BAR whereby the client pre pays for a free bar facility up to a certain amount, once the amount is reached it is then switched back to a Cash Bar. 

How Competitive are our prices? You will find the price of our drinks are in line with your local pub. 

Are Staff provided? Depending on the style of your event, and the package you choose our professionally trained & uniformed staff can be provided for your event, or if you’d prefer you may also use your own. Our mobile bars will always be staffed correctly to effectively service your event, ensuring no-one waits too long for a drink! 

What about Glassware? All our mobile bars are fully stocked with very high quality elegant & recyclable glasses. Glassware can also be provided is required. Additional items such as high quality recyclable straws, napkins, fruit & ice will also be provided* 

 Will we tidy up? Our trained staff will ensure all drinking areas are kept clean and well maintained throughout the event. Any rubbish generated at the end of the event will be bagged up & disposed of as instructed by the client. Or alternatively rubbish collection can be arranged. 

When will you set up and dismantle for the event? This depends upon the bar you choose and the requirements.  Ideally setting up the day before an event is preferred. This helps to ensure everything is in its correct working order, and ensure you are happy with how the bar looks visually & the size of the bar. We will endeavour to close & dismantle the bar on the same evening, but this of course depends on the duration of the event.

What facilities do we need to provide on-site? Power must be made available, ideally a standard 13Amp socket is all we require.  If this is not possible for you, then we are able to provide a generator to provide power.  A small additional fee will be payable for this. Running water is also required. 

Do I need to apply for any licenses? If your event requires a temporary event notice for the sale of alcohol, we are able to apply directly for this on your behalf.  There is a small additional fee for this. 

Can you supply additional lighting, props or bar furniture if we need it? We are able to provide you with bar stools, tables and poseur tables if you want to kit out an area at your event.  We can offer bar furniture for hire in a range of designs, colours and quantities, along with glassware for hire so please contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

Do I have to pay a deposit? In order to secure your booking, you will need to pay a deposit of £125. You can this by cheque or bank transfer.  Once you have paid this deposit, you will receive an email confirmation of your booking. Any outstanding monies or balances are due at least 6 weeks prior to the event date. 

Do you charge for installation or have any hidden fees? All our mobile bar packages include set up costs, however if for any reason additional costs are incurred confirmation the associated fees would be discussed and outlined in the proposal you receive from us.

Do you have public liability insurance? Yes We are covered to £5 million.
